It is  humbling to note that the Art Expo Malaysia is now in its 12th year, making it the longest running art fair in the southeast Asia.

Art Expo Malaysia is recognised by the Malaysia Book of records, the Brand Laureate Award, and the McMillan Woods Global Award. also it runs  under the Royal Patronage of Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Perlis, Daulat Tuanku.
While Alena Vavilina has won an award and has been invited to represent Embassy of the Russian Federation in Malaysia at Art Expo Malaysia 2018. Alena , born in the city of Moscow, graduated from the School of academic Art in Moscow .Through academic lessons Alena learned the principles of art and with this foundation she is currently experimenting with styles and media. Her style of painting is vivid example of  a modern art. 
She has always been fascinated by the elements of nature and in Art Expo Malaysia 2018, she is presenting to the public her series of artworks " Butterflies"as a symbol of fragile, elegant beauty of nature.
